One of only a couple places to get a sit-down non-fastfood breakfast. Didn't have to wait long even though the place was packed. Good food and good service.

Excellent Food, however a little on the pricey side. You get excellent portions for the money and good service

Had the eggs Benedict and they were very good. This place is only open during breakfast and lunch hours and the wait is usually a few minutes but if you want a great breakfast I would take the time or get a to go order.

My wife and I were in town for a medical consultation and heard about this restaurant. It was new so we decided to try it. It was very clean and the staff was fairly well trained. There was nothing special about the menu and the prices were pretty steep. My wife had a cinnamon roll which was dry and I had a BLT which was just average. Perhaps we should have ordered something featuring an egg product since the the place is called Jimmy's Egg. Well, I'm sure a lot of people will like this establishment but we'll wait for another time when they run some kind of special.

We stopped in Jimmy's Egg for an early weekday lunch with a couple of family members. We made it through the outer door, only to encounter the back of the line. The group in front of us didn't know to give their name to the hostess, so we waited a few minutes and finally asked. Yes, she was taking names. The hostess needed to be more assertive. She would call a name and there was no way the people at the back of the line could hear her. Then just sort of shrug like "oh well". Towards the end of our wait in line (probably 15 minutes), she was approaching newcomers to get their name signed in, so that was improvement. Back to waiting in line, parties of two were getting seated much more quickly as they had several two-seat tables in the restaurant. Also, apparently it is "customary" to walk right on in and sit at the counter if no one is already sitting there. People waiting in line who were not aware of this were getting a little bit testy about it. Maybe the hostess should say, "There are open seats at the counter with no waiting, if you would like to sit there." and if you don't, then take your name. The place was very, very busy. We finally were seated and had our order taken fairly quickly. Then another 15-20 minutes' wait for eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The side orders of fruit were about half full. I realize that this restaurant has not been open very long, but it was way too slow. We will not return. I have been to other Jimmy's Egg locations which were much more efficient and gave you much larger portions. Hopefully this one will reach that level too with the passage of time.
