“Good base for visits to national trust properties and Sandringham”
Reviewed 5 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Lovely area and good local pubs, pity about the weather while we were there, still managed to fit quite a bit in Sandringham ,Blicklington park ,felsbrigg hall,Norwich ,Kings Lyn ,etc etc.Cottage comfortable and good heaters would recommend as a good base to explore this area.

“Comfortable country cottage”
Reviewed 16 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

The cottage was very comfortable and warm which was lovely as our weather was not good. The location was good for Norwich as well as the coastal resorts. The owners were helpful and replaced a defunct TV immediately with a new one. The only reason I have marked it down was because I found communication with the owner, through trip advisor, wasn't easy and an answer to my question about how to find the property didn't reach me until the day after we arrived.

“Can't wait to go back!”
Reviewed 16 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

What a beautiful cottage! We arrived on Friday evening and were met by Karen who showed us around and explained everything. We had a thoroughly restful time and are checking dates that we can go back. Went in to Norwich on Saturday and off to Cromer upon checking out. So close to the big attractions but far enough away to completely forget about the world

“Warm and comfortable”
Reviewed 8 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We were met by Karen on arrival and shown all that was necessary, after that we were left to our own devices which suited us.
We were very unlucky with the weather but the cottage was warm and comfortable and a great base to visit the local area.
The bed was comfortable and the shower worked efficiently. The bijoux kitchen was extremely well equipped.
Although we can understand why the cottage has been described by another reviewer as a little tired we felt it good value for money and would return again if available for our dates.
Ideal if you want a peaceful break with all basic facilities.

“Perfect retreat for the week”
Reviewed 28 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This was the perfect cottage for a week's retreat. Perfectly located in the most peaceful and quiet surroundings. We felt very welcome and were glad to know we could bring our dogs next time. It was nice to be greeted by a waggy tail on arrival. The property was comfortable and we didn't feel the need to go out every day, it was nice just to relax and walk around the grounds after a meal. It included everything we needed, and we'd not hesitate to come back again and would gladly recommend it to others. It was close to the places we wanted to visit - Redwings horse sanctuary, the Bure Valley Railway, and Wroxham broad.
