The hotel is what you'd expect - a decent Marriott. But the service is exceptional, from the registration desk to the restaurant. And I was in a hurry to get to the airport and was signed up for their shuttle, and the driver - Freddie - did everything possible (and legal!) to help me make my flight.

I travel 30+ weeks for business, and this hotel is a standout from the service perspective.

Always stay here when in Des Moines. Everything about this hotel is top notch. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are clean and have been refurbished. It is a mid-rise hotel and can't be beat.

Room tip: Stay away from the elevator and ice machine

From the front desk to the restaurant staff, the customer service was fantastic. We had a large group for dinner and the service was top notch. The food is delicious too. Very clean and comfortable room.

Checked in late on Friday evening for two nights. We need three rooms and even though they were extremely busy, they managed to get all our rooms very close together. The rooms were so spacious and comfortable. The beds were so comfy as well. The entire staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were so clean and tidy. Also, even though we were near the elevator, the rooms were very quiet. I never heard any noise from the hall or other rooms. It was a great stay.

We ate breakfast both Saturday and Sunday in the Two Rivers Grille. The food was delicious, however, the wait staff was extremely slow. The restaurant was not busy either day and we still had to wait quite a while for our waitress/waiter to even acknowledge our presence.

Room was very nice..front desk was friendly, but Freddy was our driver to and from the mall and for going out to dinner...he is the best! His personality is fun loving and so sincere! We would stay here again just to see Freddy!
