Old fashioned icon in the neighborhood - has that supper club feel! Its a bit dated but that adds to the ambiance a bit, if your looking for chic and polished better go somewhere else if you want to escape a little and delve into some family favorite Italian then this is alright!

My husband and I went here for date night when another restaurant we originally had wanted to eat at was overbooked. We are so glad we did! The food here is so good. Food is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. We will definitely be back. The steak dish and creme brûlée are highly recommended!

Met a friend for dinner a couple nights ago and wished I had read reviews before we went. Have been before, but it's been several years. First off the waiter was dripping in sweat the entire time he was serving us and even coughed into his napkin he constantly had in his hand or pocket. We were not the only ones to notice this. Also, when I inquired about a gluten free menu he didn't seem to know it even existed. I had called ahead of time to make sure there was one or would not have even considered having dinner here. To add to it the service was extremely slow. Not sure if they were short staffed, but since there was a business group in a party room you would think they would have been better prepared. The food was actually very tasty, but with that kind of service combined with a sweaty rude waiter I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had a business dinner with eight people, and although the food was good, the service had a hard time keeping up. We had to wait for twenty minutes to receive our water, then drinks were another wait. Thankfully, we ordered appetizers with our drinks, so they arrive about the same time. When the dinners arrived, one of our table had to wait for over twenty minutes after everyone else to receive their meal. The waitress recognized the error, and did provide a free dessert for the late meal, but obviously, it was really awkward for one of the table to receive their meal after everyone else was almost finished. The halibut and steaks were well received, but heard the scallops were only okay.

We've been dining at this place since before it was here. (It was in another location, LOL) The ownership has changed in the last year so the menu we have come to love has changed a bit. But, what's there now is worth a visit. Especially nice are the de Burgo and Salt-Crusted filets. I had the ribeye last night and it was also terrific. Pasta dishes are generally very nice. What I miss is the scallops on angel hair pasta with lemon-butter-caper sauce. But you know what - they'll make it for you if you ask even though it's not on the menu (except with risotto). Anyway, this is a great place for a great meal.

It can be a little noisy when the band is playing on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. So we try to get a table in the stained glass room. Service is generally good but can be a little sketchy. Hopefully you will have someone who has been with them a while. That always helps.

If you haven't been there, give it a try. It's a little pricey, but not out of bounds for the type of restaurant it is. Take your time and get a dessert.
