The rural location let you escape from your busy life for few days. The cottage is really nice inside out – well presented. Great family-friendly peaceful place. Luckily the indoor heated pool was vacant all the time and we sort of got made it as a private pool. :) The indoor games room was well equipped and again we had it as a private games room as no one was there. Enjoyed the table tennis very much. We will definitely visit again. Thanks.

I booked this property as a surprise for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration. (the owners even left a cake for them!) There were up to 30 of us coming and going at various times. We all made use of the facilities on offer and all 4 generations enjoyed themselves. The living areas are very spacious with plenty of seating and so you didn't feel that you were in each others pockets all the time. You could easily find a quiet spot to relax on your own. It is situated between 2 busy towns, Totnes and Newton Abbot, with easy access to both but you would think you were much further away because it is so tranquil and picturesque. The property was very well kitted out, Wifi, ipod docks, games, toys, books and kitchen had much more than we needed. We made good use of the communal swimming pool and games room and also enjoyed sitting outside for most of the weekend where we had BBQ, cream tea and lit the chiminea.
