“Outstanding. Beautiful. Rustic.”
Reviewed 12 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

It feels like being in rural and rustic France. The privacy, exclusivity and tranquility of the secret garden/ courtyard area more than compensates for the traffic noise. The accomodation feels like a home from home and is spotless. It feels like being in a 5 star luxury hotel. Exceptional value for money. Ian is delightful and welcoming. We are just beginning our stay and know we will rest and relax for the duration of our visit. The location is great for visiting Lincoln City or the seaside. Highly recommend and, in fact, have already done so.

“Cozy and Relaxing”
Reviewed 24 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This was perfect for a couple, but had an extra bed to accommodate 2 more. The gardens and variety of birds make you forget you're in a village. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we felt the entire length of our long stay, that we were home-away-from-home. I would definitely recommend this lovely cottage to friends or family; and I would happily stay again.

Liked best: The comfortable bed and quiet area.

“Home From Home”
Reviewed 26 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Stayed at Lowbarn for over a month whilst the building of our own new house was finished. Lowbarn is excellent value for money, cosy, modern and tastefully decorated. Located in a small Lincolnshire village with a pub and a small convenience store, easy access to Woodhall Spa and 20 minutes south of Lincoln.
With off-road parking, the building looks like a converted stable with exposed wooden beams. The building forms one side of what was once a farm yard and is accessed via a small wooden gate, which opens up to your own charming secret square which is strewn with fawn, fawner and garden furniture which must come alive in summer - enjoy!

“Superb stay”
Reviewed 12 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We booked this stay on the Wednesday before we travelled and were pleasantly surprised with the location. Nearby the village of Woodhall Spa is situated with all its historical connections to the Dam Busters squadron and also the unique " Kinema in the Woods" ( Well worth a visit along with the tea house nearby). The very small village of Martin has a pub serving excellent food (short walking distance). Shop with post office nearby also. The cottage has everything you could wish for provided, with attention to detail ( even down to toothpicks for use after having steak at the pub). Ian was extremely helpful and friendly which added to the enjoyment of the stay. When the WiFi tripped out with a powercut he immediately came and sorted the problem out.We would certainly book again.
