Popped in to Cozy Cottage for lunch recently with a friend. The food was really good. It's small and outdated but if like me you are more interested in good food than new booths and tables this is a great spot to go. This trip the parking area was so full I did a drive by, ran a couple errands and then went back. Glad I did! Their "dinners" are all very reasonably priced and not lacking. Really good home fries and for a side I recommend the macaroni salad. I could have eaten a couple helpings of it alone. If you've never been, you should!

The Cozy Cottage was a little hard to find, but the full parking lot was a pretty good indication of the place I was looking for. Fortunately, there were a few open spots in the restaurant. The biscuits and gravy were excellent as others have said. A half-portion of the side order was a LOT! I had the Texas Omelet and it was awesome! Atmosphere was like an old fashioned town cafe. Waitress was friendly and attentive Ages 0-90+. Non-smoking.

The food, the service, the clientele all make the name seem very appropriate. Loved the biscuits and gravy. Actually shared a table with another couple because of the crowd. It was great!

This is our favorite spot for breakfast which is served all day. From the outside it doesn't look like much; a tiny hole in the wall, if you will. Even the inside is nothing fancy. Just a small, cozy family-owned diner. However, tasty, home-cooked meals are served. The staff is friendly and personable. The prices are pretty inexpensive and I always leave stuffed. Daily specials are offered. It is only opened during breakfast and lunch hours, except on Friday evenings. The down side is the limited seating and parking since they are often packed. Carry out is available, though.

I didn't know places like this still existed! Don't judge the place by the outside. The food was very good, the prices excellent. $5.49 for country fried steak with potatoes, veggie, and salad. Wow!
It appears to be a family owned and operated place. The paneled walls and the booths and tables all harken back to the 1970's. So do the prices!!! Good food, cheap, in a clean "blast from the past" atmosphere! What's not to like?
