My family and I stayed at the Oliver Inn during a college visit swing (very conveniently located near Notre Dame). The room we had was lovely with a private bathroom. There was a small miscommunication between us (who knows how), but they had a roll-away set up and ready for our son by the time we got back from dinner (went to a place they recommended and it was perfect!). It's true, the sheets are fantastic! And breakfast in the morning...filling and delicious! Alice and Tom are wonderful hosts and we'd return if ever in the area!

Dear Kerry, Thank you for choosing to stay with us on your college visit swing! I hope your son chooses a great school, and if it is Notre Dame, that we will have the pleasure of seeing you again!

After an evening at their neighbor- Tippecanoe Restaurant, we stayed at this wonderful B&B. Our host quickly took our luggage up to the room as we toured the first floor. The facility was clean, quiet and the rooms had everything needed for a good nights rest. The bedding had these softer than soft sheets and the shower was hot and forceful (no water saver heads here). Breakfast with great food and others was totally enjoyable. Oliver Inn was built by the Oliver tractor family and since we are farmers- this was of interest to us.Definitely will go back if in the area!

Gave my wife weekend getaway with concert for Christmas. I decided to do B&B to add a little variety to our travels, and boy am I glad I did. We haven't stayed in a B&B for 20 years and forgotten how much we loved it. Oliver Inn is not only beautiful to look at, it is like your staying the weekend at a friends house. Walking distance to most everything, and a short drive to everything else. To quote my wife, "best Christmas gift ever."

We found the Oliver Inn 12 years ago. We go to Michigan once or twice a year and make the inn our regular stop, in fact just part of our trip. Tom and Alice are wonderful hosts, it’s very relaxing, our favorite room (we won’t tell!)is our favorite anywhere, and the breakfasts are wonderful. South Bend is actually a nice city with good restaurants, a beautiful river and bike paths, Notre Dame, and nice museums.
