Met up with Sue the functions coordinator as I was looking for somewhere to have my 50th Birthday. What a fabulous place, Sue showed around and we chatted about menus etc. We've booked the Woolshed for my birthday in July and can't wait. Even my friends are looking forward to weekend away.

The function room was a great location for the family reunion function.
The catering was great with good food options.
We stayed in the shearers huts which are typical of bush accommodation.
The toilet block was clean and well maintained.
The activities during the day gave a great insight into the Australia of the 1800s, the tour guides were informative and very personable.

We stayed here early Feb no one else here. I remarked this to lady at check-in she said Mon to Wed is quiet. No activities as there Were are no other guests. Had a good look around. It was good to see the old machinery and how people lived. It even brought back memories of my childhood on the farm. To how we lived and the machinery we used.To those people who whinged about nothing to do and volunteers not working Sundays remember they are volunteers and have a life also. Maybe if you ring before you come out your experience may be different. All I can say is thank you Jondaryan Woolshed for preserving some of our fast disapearing history for future generations to see.

There is so many Australian historical items to look at. It took us a whole day just to walk around and enjoy everything, including the damper and scones and cups of tea.
