Hi Richard, thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed that you didn’t enjoy your visit and take your feedback on board with the view of continuous improvement.

We understand that you did chat with our team onsite about the barbeque which had just been used by a visiting group and not cleaned. Although we respectfully asked that visitors who use the shared facilities clean up after themselves, this doesn’t always happen, and our team acted immediately to rectify this issue. If you would have been willing to discuss some of your other concerns, we could have acted where required and provided you with informed advice.

For your information, we are currently in the process of updating our signage and undertaking improvements and upgrades across the grounds including to our animal nursery, gardens, shaded areas, camp kitchen and more. Because our area is experiencing an unprecedented drought and is under strict water restrictions, this is having an impact on the overall look of our grounds, like it is with the entire region.

With regards to the operation of the Jondaryan Woolshed, although owned by the Toowoomba Regional Council it operates as a separate entity. The vast landscape of our venue spans 150 acres and even during our peak times where we welcome in excess of 1,000 visitors, it still feels very spacious (although we do not operate any cannons).

Lastly, we take the safety of our visitors very seriously and are not aware of any safety issues around the grounds where there is permitted access to visitors. We wish you would have alerted and discussed any safety concerns with us during your visit so we could have responded promptly.
