Noyel was Superb. A lovely place in the Heart of Colombo. Comfortable Rooms with great facilities. All staff are very friendly and will be at your assistance when ever required. I will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed at gateway hotel for 2 nights.. the rooms were ok, food was delicious! Very supportive staff, specially the bell boy. Nice view of the lagoon. But the corridor was a bit smelly which depressed me but overall nice stay!

We decided to stay here during a long transit despite Sri Lankan Airlines booking us a room at the (awful looking) Ramada nearby and we were very glad we did.

We booked a package that included airport transfers. After clearing immigration we went to the hotel desk in arrivals and a car came around ten minutes later. The car was new and of a good size. Drive to the hotel was about 15 minutes.

An exceptional welcome on arrival, taken care of from the first second we got there. Taken to sit on comfy sofa's and given cool towels and ice cold juices by the friendly concierge. No standing around waiting to be checked in.

Room was just a standard twin I think, all we needed for an overnight. Clean and comfortable.

Really good range of food available and amazing value. We ordered a LOT of room service and paid about $30 total for three main courses, drinks, sides and deserts. Mini bar the same, I think about $1 for a local beer or a soda.

Checkout was very smooth in the morning and a car returned us to the airport without any fuss.

Only shame was we weren't staying longer!

Excellent service from staff from booking - they took time to clarify the room we booked and was very helpful. Airport pick up was efficient. The suite in the new part of the building was luxurious and quiet. We went to the restuarant for dinner - the local dishes were very tasty. Although it took a while for the dishes to be prepared (our server did inform us when we ordered), the chef came to check whether we were fine with spicy food. Very kind service. Highly recommended for an overnight stay before touring Sri Lanka.

WHen you come to the hotel everuthing works professionally, luggage man , personal in-checker and man escorts you to room, and the hotel lookes nice. We only stayed fpr one night because an early flight so didnt have any breakfast ,probably would have been good. They offered us a breakfast box to the room and we excepted, the time they should bring it was 4.45 in the morning , it came 23.45 in the night when we was sleeping so not much sleep after that. The pool is much smaller then the internet pictures and the surroundings near the pool could be updated. There was also a company part at the pool when we were there so it was very noisy , because they had a disco going on in the middle of the day. Mixed feelings , because the rate is triple to other airport hotels so we thought we could get a good nights sleep and stay but it didnt go our way at this place.
