We wanted to stay at a B&B on our way to Melbourne with our 2yo. Whilst this place is a little bit of a detour off the highway, it is cosy and comfortable in a quiet location with friendly hosts. The fire was nice and warm. There were nice, simple breakfast provisions provided, more than sufficient for the three of us.

We stayed here on the way from Melbourne to the Blue Mountains. Under half an hour from Holbrook, it's easy to find. It was the perfect B&B, cozy and warm in June, with a wood stove blazing, and Irvine and Marie waiting on our every need! We spent the evening in front of the fire on the leather Chesterfields, before a good night's sleep in the king bed. Breakfast was simple, but nice. Our hosts had thought of everything and the place was put together with love and attention to detail. Great value for money.

We drove from Albury to Jingellic following the upper Murray River along a very scenic road and from Jingellic it was about 12kms to Hillview Oak B & B. Irvine and Marie gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our very attractive room with king size bed and small sitting area which lead through French doors to a garden terrace. The ensuite had a shower over a spa bath and everything was spotlessly clean.

Within the house was a lounge room and off that a small breakfast area. We stayed two nights so as to explore the surrounding countryside.

There was a barbecue we could have used but we chose to eat at the Bridge Hotel in Jingellic.

As a stop over for people travelling through the district we would recommend a stay.

This B&B is twenty minutes east of Holbrook heading towards Jingellic. We were warmly greeted by our Hosts also with a log fire burning in our own comfortable lounge room. Our room and ensuite were spacious and we had a very good night's sleep. This is a lovely place to stay in the countryside and we wished we had more time to explore the area as you are also not too far to Tumbarumba.
