A real find in downtown Fort Wayne -- an Irish pub with a great beer menu and thoughtful and extensive food offerings. At first I thought the waiter was going to be sort-of stand-offish, but he proved to be very helpful and quite personable. One unusual thing about their beer menu is that they offer blends of different types of drinks -- ales with stouts, stouts with ciders, etc. I didn't think I'd like this, but I had the Guinness mixed with Magner's Cider and thought it was pretty good. The pork shank entree was almost large enough for two people; the veggie blend with butternut squash, sweet potatoes and kale was delicious. I noticed that, although there is plenty of "Irish comfort food" on the menu, a vegetarian or even a vegan could get something tasty here. The dessert menu looked good, but I was much too full, after the pork shank, to try one.
