Worst ever room, small, dingy, old and worn out. Hair dryer pulled off the wall and gone. Shower leaked from upstairs bath. Needs serious makeover. Staff were helpful with problems, but some just could not be repaired. Unless you are going for just a quick one night, don't bother.

Room old and small. Sheet clean, but old cigarette burns. No bugs seen, but was looking. Breakfast was toast, cereal & yogurt. Nothing fancy.

I would not have minded paying maybe $59-$69/night for a sort of dumpy, tired room with a single bed, broken tile in the bathroom, uncomfortable pillows, thin towels, a fridge that wasn't plugged in so wasn't cold until hours later after they figured out why, and a gross spider as a bonus. But it cost us nearly $450 for two nights, and that was ridiculously too high for what we got. We stayed during Homecoming Weekend for IU, which is why the prices were so high. But yuck. It was not good. Oh, and I had to share the bed with my son because getting a room with two queens would've cost us another $100 or so, which I definitely was not going to pay.

The Days Inn in Bloomington, IN is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. To summarize: 1) Check-in took forever due to the lobby only having 1 computer 2) TV service was unacceptable 3) continental breakfast looked more like something you would see at a food bank than at a hotel 4) No ESPN (at a hotel in college town).
