Food was very good. I had a breaded tenderloin sandwich. My companion has a bacon burger, with mushrooms. The portions are large and tasty. Lunch with tip was $40.00, no alcohol was involved, which is way I thought it was pricey. There is no ceiling so noise level when busy it a loud setting. I think this is a good venue for a business lunch, it has a full bar and a fair wine selection.

The menu has a very southern feel with fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, lots of burger and sandwich options and yummy house made chips and ranch dressing. Seriously the best ranch dressing I've had! A little pricey, but so worth it. We were not disappointed with anything we ordered!

This was at one time one of our favorites... The last few times we visited we left disappointed. Tonight I received a wilted salad with lots of wilted greens, dry tasteless chicken, and a whole lot of nothing else! Disappointed, not sure we will return. New owners running it into the ground. Sad... :-(

Whoever the manager was last night, I hope they are not still working there. There was a big problem, but none of the guests were told the truth. The poor waitress had to deal with the entire situation and could only offer "the kitchen is backed up". We waited 2 hours for a tiny portion of mac and cheese, a tenderloin sandwich, veggie melt, and "salad". When the food FINALLY came, two of the meals were so under-cooked that we couldn't eat them. This included the salad which was just a HUGE amount of plain spinach with a hunk of salmon that was RAW in the center laid on top. And THAT arrived so much later that everyone else was finished "eating"! When it was evident that the restaurant could NOT cook food last night, somebody should have told the customers the truth and allowed them to go elsewhere. This was a MONDAY night! Badly, badly handled! I called and spoke to the manager today and he offered me a VIP card which allowed us 20% off for life! Seriously, would I EVER go there again?

I was not going to return here but my friend wanted to meet at Sweet Grass last week for lunch. I thought, well I will give it one more try to see if any of the feedback has made a difference in food quality and service. I rated this experience a little better than previous reviews so there has been some improvement. The staff was attentive to all patrons, the food is much better. We had the clam chowder, a house salad and the Hoosier Daddy burger. I would go back again where as before, I swore I would not. Thanks for listening to the locals that really did not want to leave you and keep up the good work.
