There is much to admire .. a beautifuly furnished house (don't be put off by exterior ), a friendly welcome, a gargantuan and delicious breakfast, beautifully appointed rooms, lots of help with getting oriented but there are a couple of downsides that some people may need ot be aware of.
The house is on a busy road and the old house has single glazed sash windows - unfamiliar these days to us from the north of the planet. They let in the noise terribly. There is talk of shutters at some pointin the future . I would say they would be a great investment as you also have to contend with being on the main flight path to the airport from early in the morning till 11pm at night.
Some of the stuff you tend to to expect to find is not there -facility to make a drink , in our first room no mirror even and no full length hanging space for example. but there is other stuff you wolud not expect to find - an artistic spirit and a real sense of character.
Thank you for looking after us so well and those memorable communal breakfasts.More
