“Lovely stay in a charming, clean property”
Reviewed 13 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

My family stayed three nights at Canal View and were very charmed by the property and location. It's easy to find and easy to park. Get directions from Paul to the property; there's something about the Bath area that seems to confuse the GPS. Wifi worked flawlessly. The fireplaces were both prepared for burning, and I can't tell you what a pleasure it was for Midwesterners to be able to enjoy a fire in August! Paul had very quick and pleasant responses to my questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Liked best: Scenic location
Liked least: One bedroom is separated from the living room with curtains, so late-night TV watching might disturb whomever is sleeping there, although it was not an issue for us.

“Great place near Bath”
Reviewed 3 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had a wonderful stay at Canal View. Great location, very clean and comfortable. Close to Bath but out of the crazy traffic. Good pub just across river.

“Great place for a weekend with friends”
Reviewed 5 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

As a group of friends, we found Canal View to be an excellent place to base ourselves for a damp weekend visiting Bath! The flat had everything we needed and more. Paul and Christine were thoughtful in providing a welcome hamper and had both stoves laid ready for fires to be lit - very useful on one of the evenings when it was fairly miserable outside. They were also considerate of sleeping arrangements - 2 of the bedrooms were available to us as twins. The flat could also easily accommodate 3 couples - although there is only 1 family bathroom.

The view is of the quaint canal side cottages. The location is also very peaceful and quiet in the evenings. Bath is 30 minutes stroll along the canal or easily reached by a local bus. Information on how to get to Bath was available in the flat as well.

Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful trip close to the historical city.

“A great place to stay”

Very clean and comfortable. In a great location - only a 30 min pleasurable walk along the canal into the centre of Bath. Nice places to eat nearby. Had a real holiday feel.
