Just got back after a wonderfully sunny week in Bath. The Stables were beautiful and and the extra touches of flowers and basic welcome groceries were a lovely touch.
There were five of us staying, two kids age 11 and 7, myself and hubby and my mum and there was plenty of room. Maybe a longer sofa would be a good touch though as very cosy on small sofas and it would be good if there had been some plastic dishes/cups for kids to take outside as I was worried they might break something.
The garden outside was brilliant for my son to play football while we sat in the sun and each cottage although joined had its own privacy - it was well kept and very charming to look at.
We did hear the road noise too and the cat with 3 legs meowing at strange times plus upstairs in the cottage was very hot, but that's because we were lucky to have gorgeous weather and they did supply a fan.
We used he car and bus/boat and visited Burton on Avon, Longleat, Bristol and Bath and had a lovely time venturing along the river on bikes then chilled outside in the evenings.
Would definitely recommend this place to others for how immaculate and pretty it was. Really hope the Park and Ride is not successful in moving there though as it would ruin it.
Both pubs nearby were very pretty in the sun but I am surprised at how people leave litter and empties not collected around.
