We stayed here two nights. The hotel is nicely appointed and very clean. The staff friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included a nice offering of both hot and cold options, including fresh fruit. Fruit infused water available in the lobby is a nice touch.

One note: Our room was on the 4th floor facing the highway. The traffic noise from the interstate was pretty loud. If this would bother you I suggest requesting an odd numbered room on a lower floor. It will probably be quieter.

Hotel is conveniently located near Starved Rock State Park. There are a number of restaurant options near the hotel.

I rolled in here early Saturday morning (12:30 am) The lady who checked me in was very accommodating - she even offered to se a wakeup call for me and offered a late checkout since I arrived so late.I slept soundly, had a great breakfast and was off on the next leg of my trip.

While the facility itself is up to date and clean, had some room issues including hard to close shower door, desk chair that wouldn’t raise and extremely slow sink drain. If you are a light sleeper make sure you request a room on the front side. They were unable or unwilling to accommodate me and the backside rooms are right next to the freeway and very noisy. I was also a bit disappointed in the check in process. Was not thanked for being a Hilton Honors member nor offered water or anything. Seemed that the desk clerk was in a hurry to get back to her office.

Enjoyed our stay the staff was very friendly and everything was clean. The complimentary breakfast was nice. It is located in a very nice little town with some nice local restaurants and shops close by.

Handicap room didn’t even have a tall toilet. Excessive noise from upstairs and adjacent room. Paper thin walls. Staff complacent. Most expensive accommodation in area should have been much better. Never even offered anything for honors member. Expected much better from the brand.
