I stayed on a deluxe suite, it was great. The room was really big, even tough it was only me, it's really recommended for more than 1 guest. The hotel is located to a couple of breweries, restaurants and places to hangout (Beirstube, Barrel Crakel, TGIF, etc.) The location overall is ok, I wouldn't walk to much around there, but the criminal activity in the quad cities is VERY LOW. Still tough, 5 circles seems appropriate this time. Kudos to the bartenders, really helpful, I was with a group of international people (India, Spain, Brazil), and they were very friendly even tough some of the group had a hard time ordering beer.

Room tip: Bed is really confortable

Great place to stay for either business or just get away with family. It’s has everything you need to make your weekend get away seamless and enjoy the river view and all shopping within walking distance. I will recommend to take a trip here sometime.

Vicky & Jill our bartenders would knowledgeable about the area, excellent at making our very specific drinks, and loved their humor.

The hot breakfast has much more to offer than most hotels, and the two young girls taking care of us were delightful. Jessica was very quiet but always cleaning and stocking, and Morgan was right there asking us if we needed anything. Morgan even walked us down to the laundry room and fitness room instead of just pointing.

Rosa we spoke to a few times as she vacuumed the hallway, and she always had a smile for us.

You employ some of the nicest people we have met in any hotel.

Thank you

Room tip: The themed suites are really neat.

The Good: This hotel offers a woodsy, outdoorsy motif. Parking is plentiful and free. It is within easy walking distance of several good downtown restaurants and the John Deere Pavilion as well as the bank of the Mississippi River. The guest rooms and public areas are clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. The water pressure in the shower was great. You can definitely rely on a timely wake-up call. Check-in was efficient. WiFi Internet is free and has good connectivity.
The Not So Much: The breakfast room was either not air conditioned or the air conditioning didn't work. Perspiring while eating breakfast after a morning shower is not fun. Upon check-out, it would be nice if the front desk clerk smiled/was friendly, asked about your stay or thanked you for staying as opposed to being surly. These two items caused me to rate the hotel as "Average".

Rooms large, beds comfortable, pillows too big, bath very clean. Has an old lodge fell to the place that works. Good bar and bartender downstairs. The rooms can be noisy on weekends if there is a party/wedding across the plaza. Staff very friendly. Wi-fi was spotty in our room. Our room was very quiet despite kids in the hallway.
