“Beautiful villa”
Reviewed 7 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We've just returned from this beautiful villa. It's surrounded by stunning views of glorious mountains and orange groves. It's very rural, situated next to a farm with goats and cockerels (kids loved these), but not too rural that there aren't local amenities. The little village is a short walk/drive away and there are a few little bars to eat and drink in here as well as a few takeaways and an Indian restaurant which is great.

A car is a must to explore the nearby coast and towns. The nearby town of Oreiella is a hidden gem, with loads of little squares to have a bite to eat and drink in. There is also a big shopping centre and Burger King if you need a burger.

The villa is nice and spacious and the rooms are all bright. There is a little gate that separates the stairs down to the pool from the villa, making it safe for kids. There is a nice big garden with fruit trees that the kids enjoyed picking. It feels safe. There is a large parking area and the gates onto the road are large, private and locked so no one can intrude. There are lots of outside spaces to sit as well as a comfy lounge with UK TV stations. The wifi is good in all of the villa, even round the pool. The pool is well maintained and cleaned regularly by Martin and Dawn, our hosts, but they were no way intrusive. They kindly did a shop for us before we arrived late on a national holiday which we really appreciated.

If you are looking for a lively holiday then this probably isn't for you, but if you want to chill out, relax and enjoy the quietness then the Finca is perfect.

“Great relaxing holiday villa”

Just come home from spending a week at the villa with 14 other ladies. I'm slept in the cave which I found to be cool and dark and very quiet ideal for a great nights sleep. The villa was large with many external areas to sit and chill. We made use of the outside BBQ, internal kitchen and the pool bar, we bought food and drink in the local supermarket, which was very reasonably priced and had the bonus of an English butcher who really helped us when we were stuck finding items and determining what items were. Went to the local indians for an evening meal which was beautiful and very clean as you could see into the kitchen area. We also enjoyed tapas and plenty of Sangria on tap in the village, all the locals were very friendly despite our limited Spanish we were made to feel welcome and they were very accommodating to our large group of ladies. The walk into the village took around 15 minutes.

Martin and Dawn were very helpful throughout our stay, as we did not hire a car they offered to take us to a large supermarket for a shop when we arrived and also during the week came back with more water for us.

We found the villa was clean, fully equipped with all we needed and even came with extras which we would not of thought of.

The pool area was great with plenty of space for us all to sunbath, the pool a good size to fiit us all in, the bar perfect to keep drinks cool throught the day and evening.

The neighbours of goats and cockerills just added to the rustic charm of being in the real Spain.

We are returning next year as we enjoyed it so much, we are aged between 19 and 50+ all busy working ladies who were all able to relax and have a week of peace in the sun.

“Amazing holiday”
Reviewed 11 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Well where do I start. Just returned from this beautiful Finca today and already wishing we were back. From the moment I booked this last September Martin the owner has been brilliant. This continued when we go there and He and his wife Dawn went up and above what we expected of them. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Martin took us shopping on the first day and continued to deliver water or whatever we needed during the week. They even came and brought us extra sunbeds and blow up lilo's, The Finca was everything we expected and more. We booked it as a surprise for my friends 50th birthday and it certainly did not disappoint. Martin and Dawn had left a card and a lovely bottle of wine for her arrival (lovely gesture). The finca has everything you need to have a brilliant holiday. There was everything from bottle openers to beach towels. There is nothing they haven't thought of. The finca was spotless and very tastefully furnished. There is washing machine, dishwasher microwave and even a hairdryer. The cave house attached to the main house is totally amazing and also has everything you need as well as being lovely and cool, there is even a little games area for the kids. The Finca is set in a very rural area with the town being a 15 minute walk away but we enjoyed the stroll. The village is very traditional Spanish with Tapas bars a beautiful Indian restaurant and a supermarket with an English butcher working there who was fab and very helpful, Sunday is market day and the cooked chickens are beautiful, The finca has an outside bar area around the pool and there is also an outside fridge for keeping the beers cool. The pool is a really good size not just a little splash pool but well big enough to swim, There is nothing I can find to say negative about the place . well maybe the neighboring Cockerel that crows from about 4am , take a good pair of ear plugs ha ha .This was one of the most relaxing laid back holidays most of us have ever had, we didn't even know what time of day or night it was most of the time. If you like the hustle and bustle of Benidorm then this is not the place for you, but if you want a chilled out relaxing holiday with a wonderful place to stay with fabulous hosts, beautiful traditional town with Sangria on tap then get booking. We have already booked again for next year, Thanks Martin and Dawn.

“Great Villa - Great hosts”
Reviewed 29 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We had a great time during our recent stay and the kids loved the villa, especially the games room in the cave house. The best thing about our stay was that Martin and Dawn were extremely helpful and very friendly.

The village of La Murada had all the shops, bars and restaurants that you need and Albatera, which has larger supermarkets etc, is only a short drive away.

A car is essential really, to get the best out of visiting beaches and other attractions, but it was nice to be in more rural Spain and not in the centre of tourist land.

My only minor criticism is that the pool was really quite chilly at the time we visited, but that could be an advantage in the height of the season.
