We are so sorry that you felt the accommodation was not as you would have wished for and will endeavour to address your concerns where possible, in the hope you may consider returning in the future.
Hubby and I stayed for a week at the beginning of September, with our doggy, and highly recommend this accommodation.
The garden is the first thing you'll see and this has the "wow factor"; unmatched by any other property on the site. Completely enclosed & secluded, fab' garden furniture, great lighting, a lovely fire-pit and uninterrupted views over the North Sea. We sat out a couple of nights and the sky was so clear it was full of stars, very romantic with a glass of wine, the fire-pit alight and sound of waves crashing just below.
The property itself is very well decorated, clean and modern with everything you need in the kitchen, a comfortable bed, good sized TV and lovely electric fire for colder nights.
Being just a stone's throw from Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and The Broads it's very well located. And there are some fabulous walks nearby that would suit those with dogs, you don't even need to jump in the car for the local beach and nature reserve. We popped into Beccles a couple of times which is a lovely little market town about 40 minutes away. Otherwise Southwold, 45 minutes in the car is just beautiful. We ate at The Corton Inn a couple of times which is just a 5 minute walk away, well priced and good food - dog friendly too ;)
There's a little shop just a 1 minute walk from the bungalow which sells all the essentials such as newspapers, bread, bacon, milk, toiletries, alcohol etc, and a bar & restaurant (we didn't eat there but heard good things) along with a lovely swimming pool.
And the owners, Peter and Gina were a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and helpful.
We are delighted that you all, including doggy, had such a good holiday and look forward to 'Wowing' you again in the future with more of our continuing enhancements.
We stayed for 1 week at the end of August in Ocean Palm Retreat. This pictures and description looked brilliant and we were so excited to go on this holiday. I'm so pleased that it lived up to our expectations and more! The garden and view are beautiful and a perfect quiet retreat on the coast!
The accommodation is small but has everything you need for a family of 4. Comfy sofas and a large tv for relaxing before bed or the outside lights and seating are stunning if the weather is warm enough.
The covered and heated pool is a lovely large size and has seating and loungers around, ideal for watching the kids splash about. We only ate in the onsite bar on our last night and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were also very friendly.
We were sad to leave but will definately be booking up to stay again!
Both Gina and myself are so pleased you all enjoyed your stay and thank you for booking again with us in 2015.
Just returned from a 4 day break. This bungalow has it all. Fully equipped, comfortable beds and fresh crisp linen and fluffy towels. The garden has a view that will take your breath away. Well done Peter and Gina . We will be back.
