“Lovely cottage and a relaxing break”
Reviewed 2 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We stayed at Wisteria Lodge for two nights in October. Sue provided great directions and her phone number before hand and we found it no problem. The lodge was lovely, very clean and modern but cosy. Little touches such as the biscuits and wine left for us made our stay. The lodge has WIFI which was handy and also Netflix which was a good added bonus. Overall our stay was perfect. Sue and Alan ensured that the hot tub was on and heated for us on arrival, they seem to have thought of everything. The kitchen has everything you could need so it's great to cook in and there is a large fridge/freezer for storing drinks. The bedrooms are huge and the beds very comfortable. We had a great relaxing weekend and couldn't recommend highly enough. Thanks again Sue and Alan.

“Fantastic break away ”
Reviewed 30 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Sue welcomed us and showed us around the cottage. The cottage itself was fantastic and the hot tub was great. Sue left us little extras like chocolates, wine and rose petals which were such a nice touch as this was a treat for our anniversary. Netflix and wifi were brilliant. Everything was perfect and it was a good break away from everything.

“Great hot tub, Netflix, real fire and friendy welcome”
Reviewed 28 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Great location, private and secluded in a quiet, dark area but only a mile to a large supermarket.

Hot tub is lovely, with a new roof with windows, so you can see the stars or keep the rain off you. Whole garden is private and enclosed, so perfect for kids.

Two bedrooms are lovely and huge, with lots of storage space.

Kitchen is great, with everything you need and the lounge is comfy and cosy, with the real fire and good for rainy nights with wifi and Netflix.

Wonderful welcome from Sue and nice touches of biscuits and drinks. Definitely recommended for family, friends or a romantic break.

We found the perfect place... Greeting package was so thoughtful leaving us wine chocolates and other little guddies as it was our first anniversary which made the stay even more memorable... Sue and Alan go the extra mile to make your stay spectacular! The lodge was extremely clean and comfortable with all facilities and utensils you could possibly need... The hot tub was amazing yet again so clean and looked after... Also private, nobody overlooking or just popping in... Left to your own devices! So peaceful just what we wanted. The pictures make the lodge look good but it really is a 'see it to believe it' amazing get away. Also sue and Alan let my sister and her partner come on our last nite 'last minute'... Such lovely people and a brilliant place... Will definitely be booking again soon

“Lovely getaway lodge - highly recommend!”
Reviewed 19 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Just spent a lovely weekend at Wisteria Lodge and Hot Tub with my husband and another couple in the family and we had an amazing weekend. We just wanted a weekend away from our kids to relax in a nice quiet place, make use of the hot tub, play some board games, have a few drinks and generally have a chill.

This lodge is perfect for that! It is set in a very quiet area, but well within reach of many nearby places to go see. There's plenty of places nearby to drive to and have a drink or pub lunch - which we did! And there are local amenities very nearby with a Tesco and Aldi and garage a couple minutes drive away.

The lodge itself is beautiful. Very luxurious and clean. Lots of space and contains everything you need. The facilities were outstanding such as the huge bath, lovely separate shower and very modern kitchen. There's also free wifi and a log fire which was nice. The owner even left us with some milk tea coffee and sugar which I thought was a nice touch and also a welcome basket with biscuits and wine which was extremely kind and such a thoughtful thing to do. Needless to say we were very impressed with the place.

Lastly, the hot tub. This is why I chose Wisteria Lodge because I thought having a hot tub included in our relaxing weekend away from the kids would be the perfect way to add something extra to our weekend and it certainly was. The hot tub is huge. Its only a couple of steps away from the front door so you don't have to scurry too far in the cold to get in. The owner provides robes and soft sandals to use to get to and from the hot tub. And there is a kind of wooden frame built over the top of the hot tub to shelter you from the rain but leaving wide enough spaces to still be 'outside'. There are also fairy lights everywhere to switch on at night which just made the whole thing even more special. We truly enjoyed having a relaxing hour in the hot tub on both evenings and it definitely made our weekend away complete!

I highly recommend Wisteria Lodge to anyone and everyone. Beautiful place to stay and very lovely helpful owners.

Thanks very much for our brilliant weekend,

Alison, Jon, Lori & Andy
