I was doing some genealogy research and did not expect to find much, but was very pleasantly surprised at the fascinating exhibits that are very well displayed
Thank you!
Fantastic place! they had cemetery reading where headstones had been damaged and removed! Thank goodness for that! Great friendly staff and volunteers! Also a file of local information from local newspapers, an unexpected bonus!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your positive thoughts! We appreciate, come back soon.
Elmhurst History Museum
I went there to do some genealogic research, not expecting to find anything interesting other than the facts I needed. But the place sucked me in! Spent well over an hour browsing through the exhibits.
We love it when people are surprised by what they find here at Elmhurst History Museum...you never know what you might find! Thanks for taking the time to tell us, and come back soon.

Nice, small museum. Worth taking a look if you're in the area! Was with friends taking in the sites of downtown Elmhurst and the college campus. Nice area to walk around.
Thanks for stopping by!
If you are in Elmhurst, this is a place to check out. The surrounding park is beautiful and the suburb actually is a great place to live, raise a family and the schools are phenomenal. The museum adds a little culture to the small city, is quite charming and easy to navigate. I wouldn’t make a special visit here but since we were staying in the area, it was something to do.
Thanks Daniel, we appreciate your thoughtful review! Come back again.
