Nice visit and stay. Service is fine and location is great. Beautiful lobby however the rooms could use updating. Close to many attractions and wonderful park. Only part I found odd was that room service came every day at 8 am. General manager was walking around the floors, however the hotel seemed understaffed.

This is a very nice historic hotel. The price only fits in our company travel policy in the winter. Lol. I've only stayed in lakeview rooms and I think they are worth the extra cost. Fast elevators. Very quiet.

We stayed for one night in December as part of our "post Christmas" get away. My husband is a Hilton Honors member so we try to stay at the Chicago Hilton every year when we go downtown. This old gem is in pretty good condition, the rooms are spacious and nicely updated. My only complaint is that,unless you are there over a weekend, the lounge doesn't open (and it really is a lovely, comfortable lounge. In fact, notice the cover photo on Trip Advisor - it's the lounge.) Two years in a row now, the lounge has been closed with the only onsite option being Kitty O'Shea's. I find that disappointing since our kids are older now and would enjoy a nice cocktail before we go out for dinner and when we return at the end of the night. Despite the good hotel room rate, we will probably try something new next year so we can treat ourselves, and our adult children, to nicer amenities.

Lovely hotel opposite Grant park. Staff were friendly and concierge very helpful. Didnt eat at the hotel but the restaurant and bar looked lovely. Very convenient having a Starbucks in the lobby. Had a very enjoyable stay.

The stuff very rude and they don’t helpful and they lie to us for many things special the new year party and the manager so rude and the stuff in front desk very bad people you need new stuff I’m never ever back to this hotel
