SP Millennium Suites are dreadful. No room cleaning, no working wifi, no towel rail (broken), no coffee, no room service, no window covering, no immediate contact. Desk manned intermittently. Mouldy shower. Exorbitant price for what we got.
Good location but that's about it.

Hello and thank you for your stay.
We do not offer housekeeping, we clean and prepare the units between our guests only. We do not offer any room service. There is wifi in the unit and coffee maker. We can be found either at the front desk, or by phone to our main office.

Thank you for your time to post a review

This place is about location, nothing fancy about room or the Hotel. There was some communication issues about a baby crib/pack n play, but they stepped up and were committed to service! We appreciated their efforts to accommodate the need we had. Without it I may have given them 3 stars. This place is a great budget hotel that is in the heart of the loop and next to Millenium Park. Room met our needs and provided us more than a hotel would have with the full size coffee maker and fridge. We were two couples traveling and a baby. Rooms weren't crazy spacious but with the living room within the two rooms it provided ample room for all of us. Wifi worked great, AC was great, and had plenty of cable TV when needed. Will stay again if the need ever comes up.

This place was a little weird. We went to Chicago for the Beyonce concert and needed a place close to Soldier Field and affordable. You should look for Fornelli Towers outside, as it wasn't clearly marked. It's in a great location. But it took 50 minutes to check in. We sat in the hot lobby and waited our turn. I was super annoyed. When we finally got to the room, it was also hot and we had to request that they turn on the AC. They make it clear it’s not a Hotel and doesn't have hotel amenities. But hey, we came for one night and it was perfect for that. The kitchenette was nice and the room was clean. If you need a convenient location to store your luggage and sleep, this is your place. If you want room service and fluffy towels, go somewhere else.

These apartments are located in the Pittsfield Building at 55 East Washington. The building is easy to find; the SP suites desk was not clearly marked, but we did find it (it is against the East wall, right by the security guard).

We had a two bedroom suite that also had two baths. There were two towels in each bath, and the rollaway bed that we asked for was in the room when we got there. Cleanliness of the room was below what you'd find in an average hotel, but it was acceptable.

The air conditioning worked well, but was a bit noisy. We could not hear any of our neighbors, which was nice. We could hear a bit of street noise, which we expected. One burner on the stove was not working; we did not ask the front desk to fix it, as we were getting along fine with three burners.

The location is great. There is a nice Target store about a block and a half to the South, and a Walgreen's on the corner. The "L" station is a block to the North, and the Millenium RTA station is a block away. We did not rent a car while in Chicago, and the location and the nearby grocery store was a plus for us.

There were little odds and ends 'wrong" with the room, and the building was a little run down, but for the price, I think this place would be hard to beat. Certainly, nothing came close when I was looking for a place to stay.

The staff at the desk was very helpful when called upon. There was no cleaning of the room while we were there (we knew this going in), and you have to take your trash down the hall, but this was not a problem. There were laundry machines on the floor that we stayed on.

Minimal kitchen tools and dishes, but we got by OK.

Had free wi-fi.

The location of the hotel was amazing for the price. There's several places to eat that are only a walk away. A bit of something for everyone's budget. Also, within a ten minute walking distance you can reach several places like Millenium Park, clothing stores, pharmacies, beauty salons, bus stops to take you to popular destinations, and a metro line linked to the airport. It was really great for sight-seeing and it made it easy to arrive to the hotel and to leave.

As for the hotel and pricing, I personally thought I got more than I paid for. I'll be honest though. I received a student discount through a third party that lowered the price for my stay. However, it looks like the original prices are still a good deal for a hotel located in an area with a lot of tourists.

I booked a studio which turned out to be quite clean and had all basic necessities like trash cans, towels, toilet paper, and soap. There was also a working fridge, microwave, stove, and toaster. Dishes and eating utensils were included.

There is no housekeeping so I suggest keeping trash at a minimum. However, each floor has a place to place your trash and wash your clothes if needed. I had no problem with controlling the room's temperature so afternoons and evenings were pretty comfortable.

The staff there was also very helpful. After several issues with transportation my sister and I arrived to Chicago early instead of late. The hotel allowed us to store our stuff free of charge and even had our room ready early which was really appreciated after a long trip.
