I came here on the back of a YouTube video a few years earlier showing a pizza challenge. Disappointingly they stopped doing it due to sourcing the ingredients but I had the painful pizza which was not spicy at all and very tasty, thin crust. I understand they do thin crust on all pizzas which for m is better that the deep pan. It was a very good pizza and the selection of beers is next to none in Chicago. I did arrive here late on a Sunday and felt pressured to eat up and pay unfortunately but I would give benefit of doubt due to lateness. I'll be back in mid may and hopefully I don't experience that. Not sure it's a family place, it's quite a cool place, I would definitely recommend for a quirky date or a place to hang out with a few friends and eat but it's not somewhere I think I would be enthusiastic to bring the kids as it's just not that kind of place. A Star on pizza quality though

Nice job as always! Check out the sweet heat pizza on the specialty list, it is absolutely amazing! Service is always spot on here with great interaction from the manager and bartender. Thanks for a great experience!

While we have typically gone to Ranalli's , they were so busy and with private parties we could not find a table inside. We ambled down the street to Bricks and were very pleased and pleasantly surprised. Great welcoming staff, found a quiet table, and had a great meal. House salad with blue cheese and vinaigrette dressing is outstanding as was the 12" vegetarian pizza. It was not overwhelmed with tomato sauce or paste and you could actually taste the peppers and basil. Great selection of beers and they also have Spaten. Drop in and you too will be pleasantly surprised, have a great pizza and beer, and find yourselves in a quieter relaxing venue. In spite of filling up, it is a more relaxing place because of less tv's and not as boisterous a place.

Stopped in with a small group and discovered this place in the basement of an old brick building. Even the inside walls are brick and oozes coolness. Pizza was delicious and since it is thin crust, everyone can get their own pizza.
