We stopped by here on our Spring Break and there was A TON of construction going on. It’s supposed to be done before Memorial Day. Pretty sure it will be very cool once it’s done! It was so cold that we didn’t get a chance to enjoy all that Navy Pier had to offer. Not much to do aside from eat there right now.

We enjoyed walking out on the pier. I don’t know if it was because of construction or if it is normal, but there were only a handful of Chicago souvenir shops open. There was a food court with a McDonalds and several other fast food options, but nothing too tempting. A nice place to see, but not much more than that.

My 13 year old daughter and I went here on a recent trip to Chicago. We were expecting more things to do and I would actually not go back here again. There was a couple of restaurants, street performers, and some interesting Gardens to look at, but for the most part it's off the beaten path and the best thing here was Giordano's Pizza.

I really only ever come here for specific exhibits. The annual Flower and Garden Show always a March favorite. Last year’s Rolling Stones' Exhibitionism was fantastic! (don't waste your time going to the truncated version in Vegas!) Strolling outside along the pier and the Ferris Wheel both great in good weather. Eat elsewhere though. These restaurants are tourist traps.

We went on April and it was chilly and windy outside, most of the city was covered with fog so Navy Pier was a great place to keep ourselves warm and comfy. U can find many restaurants where you can eat from good food to fast food. Enjoy walking inside the hallways or outside in the deck. Routes 66 & 65 will take you there without walking or taking the metro.
