My cousin and I were in Chicago for one night and stayed at the Hampton Inn based on my previous experiences with the hotel chain along with the review for this Chicago hotel. Most of the comments made about the hotel are true: great location, nice and clean lobby and rooms, comfortable stay, and helpful staff. The staff in particular is phenomenal. Every single staff member we interacted with was professional but also warm and extremely hospitable. Mohamed in particular was very helpful!!!! I must add that the pool and patio area are fantastic and the patio in particular was beautifully decorated with top of the line patio furniture. Our weekend was a blast and I'm glad we chose to stay at the Hampton Inn!

Room Tip: Choose upper floors. Fire station I believe is on the west side of hotel. Our room faced it and we did hear sirens throughout the day and night. It wasn't too bothersome, and it's the city so there are noises everywhere. But next time i would choose a room facing a different direction.

We spent a fabulous "Girlfriend's Weekend" in downtown Chicago in April 2012. Upon our arrival the gals at the front desk were so knowledgeable and friendly. Duffy, Tracee, Yaneli & Janita were there for us 24/7. These gorgeous gals booked us boat tours, scenic bus rides and even got us a complimentary shuttle to the new casino Rivers. They were constantly going "above and beyond" for all of their guests. Pat, Delores and Bunnie (the tail of the dog who followed us everywhere) had the time of their lives. Thanks, Hampton Inn for hiring the best staff in the world. We will surely return for another visit to exciting Chicago.

The staff at this Hampton Inn are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Free wireless and breakfast are a great addition to stay. Breakfast was very busy, but management had already planned for that and opened up an adjacent meeting room for seating. Things went quite smoothly considering the large crowd. The hotel also has a good location downtown and is quite close to the Red Line Grand Ave station. Was a great stay! (If you park a couple blocks down at parking garage on N Clark Rd., the parking is only $23 for 24 hours compared to $42 at hotel and other close parking garages)

Recent group ( 2motor coaches) trip to Chicago and the stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites was a nice experience. First, kudos to Jenna (sales) who was helpful in orchestrating our stay and making sure there were no surprises upon our arrival. If there were any problems, the problems were resolved before we arrived. Second, we were a bit concerned about other reviews which spoke of fire engines (sirens) throughout the night. My room was across the street from the firehall and although I did hear the sirens twice during the night, they did not disturb my sleep nor in our two night stay did we need ear plugs. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were quite clean. Third, the complimentary breakfast was really good. I especially appreciated the staff greeting us at the door upon us entering and checking tables periodically to see if we wanted more coffee. Nice Touch! If there was a negative, the only negative would be the small lobby. Would have liked to see a more spacious lobby. The picture on web is deceiving. However, Great place to stay. Good location.
Within walking distance to magnificent mile. Would recommend hotel to others

Just to let you know that on behalf of the Carriere and Lessard family, how well we were treated by your whole front desk staff, during our stay in March 2012. Especially Tracy and Moshtg.
Those two friendly people made our stay hassle and stress free. The breakfasts were excellent, and again the staff for breakfast were very polite. The rooms like all Hampton Inns were super clean and very comfy. The Hotel location is close to everything and anything you want to do in Chicago. Our hats is off to you and your staff. We would highly recommend your hotel to anyone.
