In a city with so much good pizza, Coal Fire stands out as one of the better venues and is quite popular. This is Coal Fire's second location, and it offers its a fine thin crust pizza. The usual variety of toppings is available. The tomato sauce is good but lacks the flavor of authentic Italian pizza made with San Marzano tomatoes. We had to wait longer than normal - our waitress apologized, saying they received several large orders at the same time (it was dinner time). During the summer, outdoor sidewalk seating is available, and we took advantage of that pleasant option.
