The Pizza was excellent Chicken Cub & Pepperoni & Cheese. Travis was our chef and Barista today. The Italian Soda’s were grand . The coffee by Creekside Coffee Roasting mixes nicely with Cypress Hills water.

Came here for breakfast. They have a limited menu as we had a choice of egg sandwich with bacon or ham with hasbrowns and nothing else. I had the sandwich with bacon. Overall the breakfast was good, just not enough to satisfy a hungry person. Coffee was also good. I ordered a chai latte on the way out and was extremely disappointed as it tasted watered down and very weak. The atmosphere in the cafe is very nice. Service was prompt and friendly as well.

Four motorcycles with 7 riders arrived Elkwater for lunch. One of the locals pointed us to the 12-34 Cafe. This was a gas station convertd to a restaurant. The inside decor is very unique. You order at the front and take your meal to the table. I ordered a huge cinamon bun with too much icing. Others had soup and sandwiches. I thought the prices were high for what one ordered, but there aren't too many choices in this town.

Although they had to close early due to a blizzard on the Monday night (the blizzard that left us snowed in for 24 hours), the lunch and breakfast we did have were wonderful. It is a combination pub, deli, bistro, expreso bar adjoined to a service station built in a old automotive repair shop. Great place to sit by the fire on a cold winter day!

Worth the visit.
