We just left a wonderful 3 night stay at the Leaf. The villa & common areas are beautiful, clean & include small details that made our trip much easier (for example, international outlets & bottled water). The daily breakfast was delicious & had a variety of Western & Indonesian options. You can also order a la carte if the spread isn't to your liking. We didn't order off the menu once. We had a lovely dinner at the rooftop bar/restaurant. The food was delicious & the cocktail & wine list had many options. Even with the great facilities & food, the staff really made our trip. We booked through a 3rd party vendor, who had no record of our reservation when we arrived (after more than 20 hrs of travel). Syaifudin, Head Butler, could sense we were exhausted & frustrated by the mix up. Instead of making us wait, he let us head to our villa & set up massages for us straight away. By the time we were done with the wonderful 60 minute massage, everything was sorted out. The service continued to shine. When we wanted to go to the beach well before the 11:00 am shuttle, the staff arranged a basket with towels, waters, & drove us to the beach. They also noticed it was my birthday, provided a nice dessert & sang to me. I could go on & on about the hospitality, but suffice to say the pros (and there are many) far outweigh the small inconvenience some have mentioned about the hotel's location. We loved our stay & hope to visit again soon.
