The atmosphere was fun and casual. The brisket was smoky, moist and delicious, and the portion was quite large. Heads up, the barbecue beans are spicy with jalapeno, not what I was expecting but still very good. My companion loved the coleslaw and the baked potato casserole was tasty.

We were excited about trying this restaurant as we grew up eating barbeque. We were so disappointed when we left & felt shortchanged as the portions were small and the price for size seemed high. We won't be back.

Been wanting a baked potato with brisket for quite a while. Always had good experience with this choice. Ordered the baker and they said, "we have no potatoes." What, this is Idaho, we're a quarter mile from a whole field of potatoes. They offered a faker tater, mash potato with everything on top. What the heck, don't have time to go to the field and grab a fresh one. Not the same experience, probably will wait next time. The brisket was full of smokey goodness. The okra was as tasty as deep fried okra can be.

We've eaten at several different Dickey's BBQ Pits in the past and it is usually a disappointing experience. This visit was not exception. I had brisket and pulled pork. They were not hot, but we warm to cold. The sides were okay. The roll is a joke. You could use it for a hockey puck. The worst part of the experience was having to battle the flies between each bite to keep them off the food. The place was empty, but it was early. This last experience was enough to keep us away for good.
