This was the first time that I had stayed at the Flamingo Motel, I thought the idea of Theme rooms are a great idea.i had the Irish room and it was really nice and comfortable,it was very clean and the owners are very friendly. A big plus is that you can walk to downtown and if you do leave in your car you have your own parking space right in front of your room. I would recommend this different cute motel and will be staying their again when visiting Coeur D,Alene .

We stayed one night in the Lighthouse themed room on the way to Glacier National Park. Room is very clean and tastefully remodeled. I could see the owner was a "hands on" type who is involved with the property. We opened the door early in the morning to see a large cat sitting there. It''s the owners feline who startled my wife, but was friendly nonetheless. One minor drawback was the Lighthouse room is literally a few feet from the main drag and was quite busy on a warm Saturday night in June.

It's one of my favorite places to stay of all times. I am taken care of there and my needs are always accomodated. A gem! Anytime I go to Coeur D'Alene it is my first pick. We used to stay at the resort, but the value at the Flamingo is much better.

Fun Theme Rooms that are very well maintained by the Owners Shelley & Art. If your an animal lover, you will enjoy being met by BeeJay the offical cat greeter.

Think the movie "Cars." This is a small motor-court style motel, with theme rooms (victorian, golf, fishing, lighthouse, flamingo/tropical, etc.) that are newly (within the last couple of years) renovated.
Our room was very clean with a new pillow-topped, king size bed. There were color-coordinated sheets and towels (the sheets were very nice!), a small fridge, coffee maker and hair dryer. Plenty of coffee was provided. There was cable TV and a DVD player with a free library of DVD's available in the office.
The proprietors were friendly and helpful (maps, directions, food recommendations.)
The rate was very reasonable.
Downtown shopping was within walking distance, as were several restaurants, pubs and the beach.
We had a relaxing afternoon and evening in C d'A and would definitely stay here again!
