Loved the beach, beautiful. Not many people, would come back at any time. Did see a lot of jellyfish though.

It’s a nice beach with plenty restaurants and the Pier. However, during spring break there was wall-to-wall people. While I was there 2 young children (from separate families) went temporarily missing. It just so congested it was easy for them to get lost amongst the people. The next day we went to North Beach on the other end of island. Much nicer & relaxing. Soooo many less people!

Great beach close to many rentals. It was warm even in October. Water was not so blue. But when one lives in Maui it's hard to compare. The water seemed nice and clean and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Love North Beach and watching the large ships come into the Savannah River. The beaches are very sandy and clean and are patrolled by police on ATVs looking for people who might be causing a disturbance or not obeying the rules on the beaches. Close to restrooms and food, too.

Yeah, I know that is corny, but, this beach has them! This is one if the nicest beaches I have personally been on. It has never been too crowded to enjoy. I highly recommend a visit to Tybee when in Savannah.
