This place is the worst hotel on this planet. I contacted Comcast cable because the Wi-Fi was out. This staff at the hotel lied to me. It turns out Comcast cable informed me that the hotel Will Wait months before paying their bill. Then pay a month or two for service and then let it run for 4 months sometimes six months without paying. Do not stay at this hotel. It cost a sub price for everything you do or request an extra towel is $5. Their continental breakfast is cold dinner rolls from Kroger Supermarket in coffee additives to your coffee sugar creamer are extra you pay for them. 1 new employee confided in me that when she was hired she was told to lie about the owner and the location of the owner lie about why the ice machines don't work lie about everything. When signing in if you leave garbage in your room IE; pizza boxes you're charged $5 for trash removal. Nearly every channel on the TV is in Korean or is a Korean Channel or Spanish including the news and there's no way on the remote to change it back. Horizon Inn and Suites is run by Jim Gould. 312 929 3158. After leaving him several messages he has yet to return my call. He is the franchise holder overall The Horizon Inns and Suites. So if you stayed at any of them and had trouble. Call him directly. Thank you for reading this and do be careful about staying at a Horizon Inn and Suites Hotel.

This hotel offers two types of rates for rooms - daily rate and weekly rate. Weekly rate starts at $300 including tax, so pretty cheap. Daily rate is $65 per day.

There's a catch though - the weekly room rates are little worse than the daily rate room.
Rest of the review is for the weekly rate rooms. Weekly rate includes a weekly room service.

The room:

It was good sized. They had flat panel TV with cable, but lot of the channels were analog and grainy. It has basic microwave and a small refrigerator. The appliances were old, but were in working condition. Bathtub had some creaks. The bed was hard to sleep.

The hotel:

The hotel scores a big plus for being safe. The neighborhood was not the greatest, but there were no dubious characters lurking around. The clientele were not professionals like extended stay america, but they were retirees and families. For such a cost effective option, couldn't ask for anything more. The hotel gets 4* just for that.

They have continental breakfast every morning. The hotel is right next to I-85, so that's a plus. They had reasonably fast wifi included in the rate, which is great. You can stream netflix and youtube. Better than some of the 3* hotels that charge for premium wifi.

The service:

One word - horrendous. Check-in was a mess. Took more than 30 minutes. TV remote didn't work, and they never replaced during my week of stay even though I called them several times!!!! Couple of lights didn't work, water didn't flow in the sink. I became best friends with the repair guy in my one week of stay.

All in all, it's good value for money. Be prepared for poor service and sub-par room, but a safe place to stay where you feel comfortable leaving your belongings for $300 in atlanta suburb is golden.

Best Affordable Hotel in Atlanta Georgia --- great deal for $65 and no other fees is best.
Breakfast is good -- even have Noodles -- nice Asian owners and rooms are big. They said used to be La Quinta Inn.

Love this place!

Room Tip: Pool court yard!

Currently staying here weekly stay was 255.00 plus tax which is great for this area the quality of the hotel, but recently he jacked the price up to 360.00 with tax for piss poor breakfast in which they almost always run out or are never in stock nothing is hot, they never have toliet paper they only cater to Asians and Mexicans we have spent a lot of money here the staff is ok but the owners are greedy they don't have flat screens in all the rooms for the price they want you can go to a Days Inn or Hampton with a indoor pool and hot breakfast don't bother coming here I hope they close this place. Elevator always smells horrible holes in sheets televisions are old and don't work properly just a big rip off!!

Room Tip: Good elsewhere in the area you get more for your money!
