Wonderful food and incredible service by Catherine. I had the panini Benedict; the poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were absolutely perfect. Hubby had the Mademoiselle Croque and could not have been happier. As a finisher, the crepe with strawberries, bananas, and chocolate ganache was delicious. I hear the almond croissant is out of this world, so we'll be back.

We been to France a good ten times or more. The food is French there is no two ways about that. Not a great place to sit outside, better to take it home.

We were in Marietta for three days, and after the first breakfast at Douceur de France, we went back the other two mornings! Wonderful breakfast dishes and amazing pastries and croissants!

Hubby had a doctor's appointment and was starving, so we stopped at Douceur for lunch. The kitchen is a little slow if they're busy, but everything is well worth the wait. Whether breakfast, brunch, or lunch, the food is well-prepared, fresh, and delicious. Hubby had watercress potato soup and an egg dish with roasted potatoes. I had artichoke salad and turkey panini on ciabatta bread. Dessert was Black Forest (something) for him and Charlotte Russe for me. His Black Forest looked like a tiny paper bag, complete with drawstring. Superb, and we didn't leave a scrap. We have previously eaten the tomato basil soup and beef bourguinon here and both are delicious. We have, thus far, disciplined ourselves not to pull up a seat at the dessert counter and eat ourselves into a sugar coma. It would be easy to do.
