I have been on this tour several times, but this is the first time I did the sunset tour. It was extremely successful. We saw lots of dolphins. Several pods were playing around the boat. The sunset was brilliant. Will definitely do this again.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this tour! The tour guide and captains had a lot of knowledge to impart about both the dolphins and the history and topography of Jekyll Island. While we were able to see dolphins on the tour, it was quite enjoyable to just learn about the island and go for a boat ride—actually seeing the dolphins was an added perk! I highly recommend this tour!

While traveling for business, we randomly decided to take a trip to Jekyll Island on a week night. We quickly stumbled across the Dolphin Tour and with one at 7:00pm, it is perfect for a post-work/sunset outing. The tour guides were fantastic! Great mix of funny and informative. We also saw tons of dolphins and a variety of other birds, views, and historical sites. Would strongly recommend you take the time to do this tour! And build in time to get dinner at the wharf before you go. It’s next to the boat launch with a great view and great food.

We saw about 4 dolphins on the 90 minute trip. I never got a great view of them because there are a lot of people on board and it would be rude to lean over people to see what they were seeing. HOWEVER, this experience was a great one. The captain told us about island history, other wildlife such a pink spoonbill bird and that they have record numbers of SHARKS!!! :) We got a view of Cumberland Island from a distance. And even though we didn't see 40 dolphins swim by, it was wonderful knowing that the ones we saw were FREE, living in nature, and not having to hug 200 people for money every day. I would purchase this again for the experience.

Very well run and organized. We did the sunset cruise and it was fabulous. They used two boats rather than ram people onto one. Very comfortable seating, nice and informative info from first mate and at least four or five dolphins swam by, one so close you could almost touch it. No push for gratuities at the end was a nice change from other similar tours.
