The food was ok, but the experience was horrible once we saw a roach crawling up the wall in the booth we were sitting at. What was worse was the server's comment when we complained about the roach, she said, "would you like to move seats?" Needless to say we won't be back, disgusting, and should be fumigated.

A confession, we are regulars and keep returning for the bar banter. JP at PR's is the best bartender and he's conscientious at keeping the conversation going for all of his customers, new and returning. We also enjoy the food and Richard's hello's.

We started off badly because they could not find the reservation I had made. This is the second time that has happened in the last year. We waited for 30 minutes to get a table on a very busy Thursday night the week before Christmas. They did offer to serve us a drink we could have while sitting in the hallway which helped pass the time.
The salads and bread are always excellent and we were off to a positive change of pace. All portions are large with enough to take home if you choose. Two of us had Bourbon Salmon which was good. The prime rib was excellent. I had crab stuffed shrimp and it came in a different arrangement than before. The shrimp were on the bottom and crab stuffing laid on top. The shrimp were over cooked and tough and the crab stuffing was tasteless.
Two of us had a side of eggplant parmigiana and two had stuffed baked potato. All of the sides were superb. The waitress was very good and checked on us during a very busy night. Next time I will try something different for an entree.

A "throw the dart" to help find a new restaurant experience led to Poor Richards. We now make the drive from Atlanta often to enjoy good food and good service. You have to try the fresh, homemade cakes! We always ask for an alcove for the family and enjoy almost dedicated, personal attention!
