We were staying in Capo Di Ponte and made the scenic 3km walk to the restaurant surrounded by the beautiful Italian countryside and the imposing mountain ranges - we would recommend this walk.
In our haste, we arrived 2 hours prior to opening (they open at 7pm), however instead of being turned away we were offered wine and nibbles and a comfy place to read and do crosswords until dinner was served - this excellent level of service continued throughout the meal.
The food was excellent (as was the local wine) - we would recommend the crepes, gnocchi and the donkey stew - yes it does contain real donkeys and was delicious.
They also make a lovely local liqueur onsite, which I managed to procure a bottle of and sipped on the walk back home :-)
In summary: fantastic food, excellent service, scenic location - 5 stars.
Thank you for your hospitality.
