This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have eaten. They give you a lot of food for the money. The Chicken Teriyaki was delicious. They also make great Sushi, and awesome drinks. If you are in Duluth Georgia and want Japanese food go to Haru Ichiban you will not be disappointed.

There really aren't that many full Japanese restaurants these days. Most of them are korean fusion or Chinese fusion or you'll find slivers hidding behind buffet counters. There's a couple of ramen places but this place truly does the sushi and the food Japanese with no blending of other cultures.

The ramen is good. Your typical shio, tonkatsu, etc are there.
There's good deals like 2 for 47 where you get the appetizer, soup, entree, dessert and full set dinner. I recommend that for people who are prepared to get their money's worth.

The sashimi is of good cut not like the bulk mass you find in buffets

The interior feels like what you would find in Osaka Japan. Staff is pretty attentive and it does get crowded and busy for dinner time to where you have to wait. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended ahead of time.

We shared the steamed crab dumplings, Snow White roll, and Special Eel roll, all of which were excellent. The restaurant was busy but the service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

I went there on my lunch break to try their okonomyaki, however, it is available only during dinner service. So I had sushi instead. The rainforest roll was so good I had to get one to take home! Imight have to go back next week for more. The miso was a bit too salty, however, the ramen bowls were delicious also. The service was extremely polite and pleasant, even during the busy lunch hour. The restaurant fills up quickly then, but turnover is quick also.
