Excellent paved path along the Chattahoochee River. Sights include old bridges, Naval Museum, converted textile mills, wildlife in the river. Safe place to bike with family. Can go from downtown to Ft Benning. Thanks Columbus for providing a great bike path/people path, with so much to see!

This was a lovely, scenic place to catch up with out son after Basic Training graduation. There are not many people around, the setting is calm and quiet, the old buildings are intriguing, nobody is selling anything, there are various spots to stop and sit and take photos, and you get to see wildlife, water, and pretty views.

My guys weren't too thrilled when we driving to the Riverwalk (they thought it would be boring), but it turns out to have been a perfect place that we all appreciated and enjoyed.

The water is calming. The walk is well worth it. The surrounds are comforting. Take a wonderful walk down the Chattahocee River. It is romantic for the love ones and reuniting for the families. See for yourself , walk with others!
