Pizzeria level, not an Italian restaurant. Good quality of pizza, calzones, salads and a few other Italian offerings. Reasonably priced and a step above the "chain" pizza places.

Stopped here after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Easy to find in the center of the Historical District. The Person who took our order was very nice. There was lots on the menu but we just wanted a light meal. Shared a great Pizza and we both had salads too.

We ate here our first night in town. The air conditioning set to somewhere below freezing and some radio station was blaring the entire time we were eating (why do restaurants do that?). I wanted to eat outside, but the tables had not been wiped down after a rain (and once I met the two kids running the place, I wasn't surprised). We shared the Luis salad (romaine, hearts of palm, cucumbers, tomatoes, Craisins, candied walnuts and crostini. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. And crostini are supposed to be crispy, not soft breadsticks with cheese. Ditto the pizza. The crust was good, but a little seasoning would have gone a long way. The blaring music and mediocre food is enough to keep me from going here again.

We are sorry to hear about this negative experience, especially due to the music blaring. We have been addressing several ongoing problems with trying trying to control a low volume and appropriate local radio station choice, both due to station power fluctuations /airtime outages and employee interventions. If you can let us know the time/day you were there we would like to follow up more specifically about this experience.

The Luis salad is served with Arte's version of crostini, which we make with our fresh house-made foccacia bread sticks, served warm with goat cheese. (We might need to rethink our menu terminology.) We are sorry you feel the food is only mediocre and hope you will give Arte and our menu another try before you leave town.

Everything I've tried here has been good but the Spinach Ravioli that I had tonight was exceptional! For $9.95 I had a generous portion of ravioli with tender chicken and sun dried tomatoes and a large house salad. There are many options from a slice of pizza to full dinners so everyone can leave happy.

Thanks for your mouth-watering description of the Ravioli of the day. It is usually a popular dish, so thanks for reviewing it and for the 5 stars! It is always wonderful to hear great things from returning customers!!!

Without reservation, I certify to you that the calzone at Arte Pizza is the best I have ever experienced. The prices are low, so the value is high. Staff are friendly and demonstrate care for each customer.

Thanks.
