We have not stayed in one of the suites, yet. We did have a couples massage on June 25th. The spa is fabulous with upscale amenities and a courteous and welcoming staff. Because we booked a Spa Service we were offered the use of the sauna and steam rooms. Unlike some of the "budget" spas, Serenity has a complete locker room with showers and high end products. After arriving on a Spyder motorcycle in 90 degree weather, we needed the showers upon arrival.
I have read a review by someone that compared the couples massage that they received,at Serenity,to others they have had on cruise ships and in their world travels. Their perception was that Serenity did not compare favorably to their past experiences. My wife and I are also world and cruise ship travellers and we found Serenity to far exceed any other spa services we have ever had.
In addition to the great massage, the staff and owner bent over backwards for us. Foolishly, I attempted to book on a whim on a Friday night for a Saturday massage. Of course they were fully booked. Lynda offered to place us on a waiting list but also warned that with their 48 hour cancellation policy the chances were slim. About 30 minutes later she called back after juggling appointments, rooms and therapists and offered to squeeze us in for a 90 minute couples massage. What a customer focused proprietor/business. Made our weekend.....it was uncharacteristically hot for the mountains for daytime motorcycle riding but a great day for a massage, steam and Sauna.
We enjoyed our experience so much we are heading back for a "Romantic Getaway" package the third week in July.
As a retired service industry executive, I have a sincere appreciation for the management style of this business. It's the whole package. Thanks Serenity.
