Throughly enjoyable!! Couples massage at Serenity was relaxing, rejuvenating, and just wonderful! Our masseuse worked sore muscles with a strong but gentle technique. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, soft music playing, and the air circulating consistently around us. After 90 blissful minutes we went to our respective locker room to enjoy a moist or dry heat sauna. Showers are available to use and re-emerge all ready for a dinner date!! Another amenity to mention is the soft robe and ojen sandals, and a couples pre-massage relaxing room. If being throughly pampered is what you are looking for, Serenity in the Mountains Spa is a must visit!

We have not stayed in one of the suites, yet. We did have a couples massage on June 25th. The spa is fabulous with upscale amenities and a courteous and welcoming staff. Because we booked a Spa Service we were offered the use of the sauna and steam rooms. Unlike some of the "budget" spas, Serenity has a complete locker room with showers and high end products. After arriving on a Spyder motorcycle in 90 degree weather, we needed the showers upon arrival.

I have read a review by someone that compared the couples massage that they received,at Serenity,to others they have had on cruise ships and in their world travels. Their perception was that Serenity did not compare favorably to their past experiences. My wife and I are also world and cruise ship travellers and we found Serenity to far exceed any other spa services we have ever had.

In addition to the great massage, the staff and owner bent over backwards for us. Foolishly, I attempted to book on a whim on a Friday night for a Saturday massage. Of course they were fully booked. Lynda offered to place us on a waiting list but also warned that with their 48 hour cancellation policy the chances were slim. About 30 minutes later she called back after juggling appointments, rooms and therapists and offered to squeeze us in for a 90 minute couples massage. What a customer focused proprietor/business. Made our weekend.....it was uncharacteristically hot for the mountains for daytime motorcycle riding but a great day for a massage, steam and Sauna.

We enjoyed our experience so much we are heading back for a "Romantic Getaway" package the third week in July.

As a retired service industry executive, I have a sincere appreciation for the management style of this business. It's the whole package. Thanks Serenity.

Spent 5 days in Serenity. Note I said in. Large spacious rooms. Huge king size bed with room to dance in the bedroom! Shower had to be 4 x 6 feet. Kitchen was nice and very convenient. Booked some services at the spa for my husband. This has been the only place he thought the technician was as good as the one he used at home. Ask for Joyce. We will be returning in the fall.

The room was nice -- rustic. They provided us with chocolate strawberries and champagne for our anniversary which was very kind. It was fun and we enjoyed our brief stay there. Didn't have time to avail ourselves of the Spa, however.

Room tip: You are on a highway, but it wasn't too noise, but convenient.

My grown daughters and I spent a weekend at Serenity in the Mountains. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for us! Brand new tv in the den with DVD's in the office we used. Great kitchen and dining table. Beds were so comfy and we loved the modern bathrooms. I plan to return with my husband. Excellent price and excellent stay!
