The dough is soft and the sauce is sweet but the business is booming. Papa John's has nearly severed its connection with Italian or Italian American pizza to offer something with the same name as pizza but whose taste is geared to a public who is satisfied with Chef Boyardee ravioli. Its advertising and mass production would have made Henry Ford proud. There is such good pizza available nearby such as Sergio's and Piccola Italia; the only advantage is Papa John's delivery.
