We stayed at the Treehouse for one week with our two children (3 yo and 6 mos) and one set of the grandparents.
We liked the layout, and it worked really well with three bedrooms. There are plenty of beds and the layout offered privacy and separate bathing/sleeping spaces for the two families. The laundry facilities were also a great help.
Javier has a list of local activities with travel times which is helpful. It’s in a good location, with lots of shopping nearby and really only 20-30 minutes from just about every type of activity you might want to do. Ten minutes to the airport, twenty minutes to downtown, 30 minutes to Clearwater beach, etc. There is a Publix two minutes away and lots of local restaurants for eating in or taking out. Don’t eat at the Golden Corral!!
There is everything you might need if you choose to use the kitchen (kettle, coffee maker, pots, pans, etc.). We really only used it for breakfast and making up snacks, but it was much better than what you would get in a motel kitchenette.
The street is a little busy, and there is no sidewalk, so driving is best. There is a white noise machine which is provided and we found useful for drowning out the traffic noise (we use one at home as well). There was a party the night we arrived across the street (it was a Saturday). We noticed the noise, but the grandparents didn’t. But considering it was a Saturday, it wasn’t too bad.
There is a massive TV with lots of channels in the main area, and a tv in each of the bedrooms as well. We didn’t use them.

When I got engaged a while back, after the congratulations had died down one of the first things my friends wanted to know was where the bachelor party was going to be. We selected Tampa for the variety of fun available there and initially we were looking to book a hotel. After much discussion it became apparent that we needed to find a better option than crowding nine guys into a hotel suite for a weekend. That's when Trip Advisor and The Treehouse came into play. The owner's pictures don't even begin to cover how great this place is. Reviews are always helpful, but at a certain point you are just rolling the dice on what you will wind up with. We rolled the dice and we won. The home itself is huge with every amenity you could want available. A fully stocked kitchen, tvs in every room, comfortable beds, great porches for spending some time just kicking back and enjoying the view, a large private lot, quick access to downtown Tampa and Ybor City yet far enough that you have some sense of privacy, a pool table in the carport, a nice Weber gas grill. Really just everything we could hope for. The owner is very friendly, easy to work with, he keeps the home very clean and his prices are a bargain compared to what you get out of the deal. My friends and I already decided that the next time we are staying Tampa, The Treehouse is our real destination.
