Went to Pine Court today for lunch with my mom (visiting from out of town). I was surprised to know they serve dim sum daily using carts! The food was delicious and we received great service. Reasonably priced, they accept all major credit cards including Amex. Lot of parking, I will return again and try more items. I hear they are very busy on the weekends, especially Sundays. So glad to have tried this wonderful bistro.

They served our table COLD food. The customer service is very poor because we asked to warm the food up only to be REBUKED by the waiter. By the end of the meal, I asked for change back from $20, and they gave it to the wrong person. The staff has unpleasant manner along with NOT being attentive. They will not apologize or try to fix the situation. Leading to this customer’s disappointment and unpleasant experience at this restaurant.

I went on a recommendation from my nail salon as we were talking about dim sum and how much my husband and I enjoy eating dim sum. I go to another place not far from there that is excellent. The dumplings were cold, the taro shrimp were cold and they keep trying to put stuff on your table. I prefer to have a menu and order what I want. I found the ladies coming around to the table to be pushy as they must get commission for what they sell. I sent something back and they did take it off the menu. I have been eating dim sum for years so I know the difference. Stay away from this place. It is expensive for what you get. If you do not mind cold dim sum than try it.

Good dim sum. Our friends spoke Chinese so that was very helpful. My experience was a delicious one. I hope to return again.

I ordered hot and sour soup. It was ok, however I wouldn't write home about it.
Silver pond still has the best hot and sour soup around.
But I digress. Simple order, beef with eggplant in garlic sauce. Please no MSG and I would like it spicy.
The hostess comes out with my dish, and asks multiple times, "Are you allergic to MSG?" "Are you allergic to MSG?"
I say "No." I just don't want it my food, especially if I ask not to put it I my dish.
She leaves the dish. I had also requested the dish be made spicy. It turns out the cook disregarded the both instructions.

As I sat there eating I had to flag down a server, because no one served the bowl of rice that was supposed to come to the table.

I asked if the dish could be made with dry red chillies instead of jalapeno peppers or chili oil. There seems to be a problem communicating even when I brought up google translate and displayed dry red chili in Chinese.

In the end my server did apologize and said next time I come in she'll have them do it right. My concern is if they can't seem to follow the simple request, should I give them a next time?

We shall see.
