We spent 6 nights at this hotel. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and our cleaning lady was also very friendly. There was no safe in the room; however, nothing was stolen from our belongings. Sawgrass mall is about 7 minutes away from the hotel. We would definitely stay at La Quinta again. They provided continental breakfast which were satisfying for us.

Room Tip: we had the room by the elevators; I would not recommend that

Went to a Harry Styles concert, with the family, at the BB&T arena, La Quinta was very close. Was warmly greeted by Deneb, despite being very busy, we were treated as though we were the only guests. Came back later to actually get our room and we were remembered by Deneb, so personable. She had held our bags, we never felt rushed. I just wanted to share this story. I complimented Deneb, as she asked how our evening went, as we checked out the following day. Individuals such as this should not be overlooked. Our trip to south Florida will be remembered by Harry Styles and Deneb!! Thank you La Quinta Sunrise Sawgrass Mills.

Room Tip: The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable! That's all that matters to me.

Have stayed at quite a number of La Quinta properties and this one falls a little short of the general standard. However, it offers good value for money and for a one night stopover was fine. The place needs a bit of updating. The staff, however, were courteous and professional.

I booked this hotel because supposedly the property had been renovated. Not even close to being renovated! This is an old property and the carpet and walls tell the story. I had to be moved to another room after checking in because the linens did not appear to be clean. When you can pull back the covers and see the imprints in the sheets where the former gets slept, this throws up a red flag to me. There was also what appeared to be linen pieces from socks at the foot of the bed. Also the commode flush handle was loose inside the toilet tank. The carpet was very sticky and stained especially in the hallways. The so called breakfast items were very limited and the staff would not refill the buffett with more food items although you could see inside the small kitchen area that more items were available.
Also, the location was pretty good but the parking lot was very small.

Thank you for your feedback of your recent stay with us. We understand you were unhappy with the condition of your room and we are very sorry for this experience. We take pride in our guests being satisfied and apologize that we were unable to meet that expectation. We will work with our housekeeping staff to prevent this from happening in the future.
I would like to reiterate that our property has been under renovation for the last few months due to Hurricane Irma. We had almost 2/3s of our hotel become out of service at the time. I am not sure when you stayed with us, but I would love to invite you back to see our new look!

Staff service-4 out of 5 because they were nice.
Pool-0, because it was mossy and full of leaves
Room-3 out of 5 because it was average
General hotel- 1 out of 5 because the building was under rennovation and this was not mentioned.
