Took a trip up to Weeki Wachi to take my daughter to see real life mermaids. The microtel was clean, beds were comfortable and service was ok. I called for extra towels in the evening and was told they would send, but I ended up having to call again to remind them more than 2 hours later. I chalked this up to the short staff (only one person at desk) of the hotel. In the morning breakfast was good, but mostly continental. I wish there would have been scrambled eggs or bacon, but the food that was there was not bad. Overall, it was a nice stay and I do it again.

Booked this on booking.com who took derails of my credit card .Upon checking in, the hotel receptionist refused to take my credit card as it did not give my full name . All my credit cards state Mrs X Xxxxxxxx instead of my full name as do my husband's. After asking to speak to the Duty Manager who was not on the premises Therfore unavailable the receptionist phoned her and she authorised our one night stay. The receptionist told us it was company policy. Also later that evening I had to phone reception to ask if they could contact the adjoining room to ask them to keep the noise down. We coukd hear every detail of the loud conversation next door. Apart from that the hotel, location and facikities were good.

Stayed at this hotel again for our anniversary in March. Lisa, the front desk person, could not have been more helpful and nice. She suggested places to go and places to eat. The breakfast worked for us because they had yogurt and fruit. The room was very clean and the hotel was clean as well. We will stay here again.
