We tried to get in for an early dinner one evening and it would have been a long wait. The word has gotten around that this 100-year-old market has amazing seafood. Their Happy Hour drink offerings are unique too. We went back another day at 4:00 p.m. for drinks and then dinner. A Double Rum Runner was enjoyed by all. Servers are very knowledgeable re: the menu and the different species of fresh fish they serv - they are also patient while you ask questions. There were four of us all trying different dishes. Appetizers we chose were Hush Puppies (the best I have had in years), Fried Shrimp and Mussels - all enjoyable. Main dishes were Hog Snapper (I loved it), Sarasota Seafood Platter, Pick Three - all Fresh Fish and more. The Yucca fries were great too. Will definitely return.
