St. George St. is really an interesting and fun street/area to explore. Great little shops, history and bars with live music. A real vacation spot!

Lots to see and shop at. Lots of good and drink places as well. There is pretty much a shop for everyone along here.

The street is filled with so many restaurants, live music, shops, history, we ran out of time over two full days. Loved the atmosphere.

We spent a morning browsing and buying from the many fascinating little shops. You have to go in and look because while the bulk of whatever the store is offering may not appeal to you for whatever reason, there is a good chance that there is going to be some hidden gem that is just right for you. For example, in a leather purse shop, most bags were garish and over-the-top. But then, in a case on the wall, was a black leather purse with delicate and detailed hand-painted flowers, and it was on sale! And this was just one of four treasures (from four different shops) that were meant for me! The restaurants were not appealing (many were really just glorified bars) but definitely go for the shops and take the time to LOOK!
